History

In 2023, Seguridad Inc and the Enhanced Service Pharmacy Alliance (ESPhA) merged under the Seguridad brand as a way to helps patients choose pharmacies in a transparent, quality-focused manner. The new Seguridad continues the tradition of both organizations – a focus on helping transform community pharmacies with enhanced services based by standardized quality reporting and value-based contracts.

Seguridad was started in 2021 to address the growing need to evaluate pharmacies on safety and quality. The various investigative reports in the fall of 2023 showed how prophetic this really was. The Seguridad founders set out to develop and implement quality measures for pharmacy evaluation. Because if we can know the safety of every restaurant, we should know the safety of every pharmacy.

The Enhanced Service Pharmacy Alliance (ESPhA), now Seguridad, is the pharmacy industry’s only next-generation pharmacy service consulting firm. Our leadership team has a long and diverse history of experience throughout pharmacy and pharmacy supply chain channels. We have partnered with progressive industry leaders to offer community pharmacies the most aggressive, diverse, and comprehensive support system in the pharmacy industry. Seguridad’s unique product and service sourcing strategies create opportunities for pharmacists to look beyond the prescription counter, past the day-to-day struggle with product reimbursement, and focus on profitable, sustainable, non-traditional, service-driven revenue streams.
